Construction of office building in Shuwaikh area 3

The project is located in Shuwaikh area 3 which the following elements:

(A) Main frame center.

(B) Closed circuit television system main control center.

(C) The establishment of the Kuwait customs Training Centre.

The main objectives of this project is to:

1. Develop a framework for IT infrastructure Kuwait customs, including cables and network services and system security and data center.

2-Design, development and deployment of basic Kuwait customs solutions for control of the goods and risks evaluation.

3-Establish links between the Kuwait customs administrations departments of each other internally as well as between all custom locations.

5-Establish links between the outside of the General Administration of Kuwait customs and ministries as well as the links with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) taking into account the link with international organizations.

6-Determine the necessary requirement that the operation of automated information technology needs in order to improve business processes.

7-Determine the best and most cost-effective systems that meet the General Administration of Kuwait customs requirements to ensure maximum system integration and minimal risk.

All the above shall be within the Global Clearing House obligations to the BOT contract signed with M/s General Administration of Kuwait customs and the private development, operation and maintenance support services for the work of Kuwait customs, since 2005 and will continue until 2030.

Development of supported services in Nuwaisib border post:

The project is located at Nuwaisib border post, which includes the following elements:

1. Re-planning truck routes according to its classification and requirements of Kuwait customs inspection and security.

2-Design and construct truck Weigh scale system.

3-Design and construct truck and container Scanner system.

4-Design and construct a new inspection ramp of dimension 9x54 meter square which consists of:

  - Container inspection area covered by a metal shad system.

  -Brockers building office and all required services, which consists of two floor with a total area of 1000 meter square where the two-story building with a total area of about 1,000 square meters.

5. Design and construct a laboratory for inspection of imported goods and sustenance.

The main objectives of this project is:

1-facilitate the movement of trucks.

2-separating truck traffic by classification and requirements of Kuwait customs inspection and security

3-increase the efficiency of inspections of trucks and the security process.

4-Pprovide the best work environment for custom staff and stakeholders working in border post.

Expansion of custom inspection employee accommodation in Nuwaiseeb

The aim of this project is to increase the Kuwait customs ability to accommodate the increase in quantity at Nuwaiseeb border post. By making internal expansion of the building which consists of two floors with a total space of 220 square meters.

Rehabilitation, preparation and construction of mobile scanner and weigh scales infrastructure for scanning and weighing trucks and containers.

Where the engineering department to oversee the implementation of all construction work necessary for the processing of these specialized devices (scanner and weigh scale devices) in order to control the process of adjusting the mechanism of Kuwait customs inspection and speed up the inspection process as well as control the legal load for trucks.

Development of Shuwaikh and Shuaiba ports project

This project aims to develop the Kuwait customs territory of ports Shuwaikh and Shuaiba as it includes the expansion the inspection ramp to accommodate the largest number of trucks and regulate the movement of entry and exit of trucks in order to facilitate Kuwait customs inspection procedures and increase their efficiency.

Construction of a new water line at Sulaibiya land imports Kuwait customs area.

Due to the company's ongoing drive to develop all of the General Administration of Kuwait customs for the benefit of the General Administration of Kuwait customs especially, the engineering department succeeded in the implementation of water infrastructure for fresh water network and the work is underway to extend the network in Sulaibiya land imports Kuwait customs area.
