In a huge celebration under the patronage of the Minister of Finance, Global Clearing House Systems Company launched a package of new electronic applications at Customs

Within the framework of cooperation between the General Administration of Customs and Global Clearing House Systems Company, a new package of electronic applications has been launched. Global had played a major effective instrumental role in developing this package to serve as a valuable addition to the work of Customs in monitoring and retrieving information, thereby achieving an added value to the website and facilitating the processing of transactions. The new electronic services were launched at a large celebration at the General Administration of Customs under the theme “New Horizons Toward an Electronic Future for Customs”. The celebration was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Anas Al-Saleh, the General Manager of the General Administration of Customs, Counselor Jamal Al-Jallawi and the CEO of Agility, Tarek Al-Sultan. It was also attended by the ministers of the Economic Committee and all senior officials at the concerned authorities.

On this occasion, Agility’s CEO, Tarek Sultan, said: “The General Administration of Customs has expressed its own vision and drawn futuristic plans that focus on a continuous improvement of the business environment performance and cross-border trade facilitation by effecting a technology-based shift designed, in general, to transform logistic work patterns in Kuwait with a view to serving economic interests in line with the vision of His Highness the Amir.”
